Jamie Faulk

Music Director

Jamie Faulk worked in education for 31 years before his recent retirement from Columbus County Schools, where he served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Curriculum Support Coordinator.

Jamie was introduced to the piano by his grandmother but remained largely self-taught until his junior year of high school. After two years of formal instruction, he attended Appalachian State University, graduating magna cum laude with degrees in Piano Performance, Music Education, and History.

Jamie enjoys composing and arranging music and had the distinct honor of serving as music director for Mike Easley’s 2005 inauguration. He composed and arranged music specifically for the televised event.

Currently, Jamie serves as organist and choir director at First Presbyterian Church in Whiteville, NC. In addition to his work with the church, he performs throughout the region and serves as director of the Southeastern Oratorio Society.
