Decorating the Sanctuary for the Advent Season
Saturday, November 30, 2019
Tree lights will be spread out and ready to put on the tree by late afternoon Friday, November 29. It will make decorating go faster on Saturday if there are those who can put lights on tree on Friday.
Decorating on Saturday will begin at 9:30 a.m.
MVE Committee will provide chili for lunch following the decorating.

We invite you to join us Sunday evening, November 10, in the Fellowship Hall for a service of prayer and praise. What, exactly, is a Prayer and Praise Service? We, a community of God’s people, will join together at 6:00 pm for a time of singing, scripture, and prayers. We will be offering praise to our Lord and God, read and reflect on His word, and enter times of prayer…and we know there is no shortage of things that need to be lifted in prayer! This will be the first of monthly services where we spend some dedicated time of prayer and praise. This is a great event to invite your friends and neighbors to join you. So, mark your calendars, and join us!

A large community Trunk or Treat will be held in Whiteville and our church is participating with 3 trunks. Volunteers are needed to decorate the trunk of your car and hand out candy or giveaways (pencils, erasers, small toys, stickers). This is a great way to meet our community and provide a safe and family friendly environment for the evening.

Please be there greeting the trick or treaters from 4:30pm (gates open at 5) to 8:00 (when the event will end).

Please join us for Lunch on the Lawn, Sunday, October 13, 2019 after Worship, at 12:30 pm. Please bring a covered dish to share to the kitchen prior to Sunday School that morning. Weather permitting, we will have tables inside and outside of the Fellowship Hall available.
