Scott Family Funeral Arrangements

  • Visitation for the family and friends of Rhonda Scott will be from 6:00- 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30 at Worthington Funeral Home, 405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431.
  • The funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 31 at the First Presbyterian Church in Whiteville with Rev. Dr. Joseph D. Washburn officiating. Interment will be in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
  • 2 volunteers are needed to assist with the nursery during the funeral service. Please contact the church office at 910-642-2253 between 8:30-1:30 pm or email at karen@fpcwhiteville.org
  • Memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, N.C. 28472 or to The ALS Therapy Development Institute, c/o First Presbyterian Church, 511 North Thompson Street, Whiteville, N.C. 28472.

  • Visitation for the family and friends of William Kenneth Thurston will be from 5:30 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at McKenzie Mortuary, 112 Jefferson Street, Whiteville, NC 28472.
  • The funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 511 North Thompson Street, Whiteville, NC 28472.
